Three people have died after a truck and car collided on State Highway 1, north of Kaikōura. Both lanes were initially blocked at Hapuku after the crash between Station and Kiwa roads, about 3.10pm on Friday. It happened on the straight stretch of SH1 between Station and Kiwa roads, he said.
