Eniola Akinkuotu and Ademola BabalolaDayo, son of the immediate past Minister of Health, Prof Isaac Adewole, has been released, The PUNCH can exclusively report. It could, however, not be confirmed if a ransom was paid or not for his release. Dayo was released barely 24 hours after he was kidnapped on his farm in Iroko near Fiditi in Afijio Local Government Area of Oyo State on Tuesday. An aide to the ex-minister, however, confirmed to our correspondent that Dayo was released on Wednesday evening. Spokesman for the police in the state, Olugbenga Fadeyi, who said this, also confirmed the arrest of three persons in connection with the abduction of the ex-minister’s son.
