KOTA KINABALU: Three Russian women who used the WeChat messaging app to "advertise" alleged prostitution services, were found their enterprise rudely halted after police arrested them at a hotel here on Sunday. Sabah police Criminal Investigations Department chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Salehhudin Abd Rahman said the three women, aged 18, 22 and 28, had just arrived in Sabah several days ago. He said two local men, aged 36 and 48, who are believed to be customers, were also held at the hotel. Salehhudin said a police team raided the hotel at about 5.10pm Sunday after being alerted of illicit activity there. He said the raiding party also seized a stash of condoms, three mobile phones and cash totalling RM2,240.
