KUALA LUMPUR: Students of the Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah tahfiz school who survived Thursday’s fire which killed 23 others will soon be studying and living in their recently-renovated facility, located not far from their gutted, temporary quarters in Dato' Keramat here. The Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah tahfiz school’s new facility. Khiruddin said the Department has carried out joint-efforts with tahfiz schools in Kuala Lumpur since July in a bid to create awareness about safety regulations in schools. A total of 19 tahfiz schools are under the Department's purview. The Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah tahfiz school have yet to meet with representatives from the Department.
