KOTA KINABALU: Three Russian women were arrested for offering sex services to locals via the WeChat application, and abusing their social visit passes. They have been in the country for a few days on a social visit pass. Salehuddin added that the arrest of the European women for prostitution was the first such case in Sabah this year. On Sept 13, police arrested two Thai women for soliciting for the purposes of prostitution at a hotel in Penampang district. The Thai women had also used WeChat to seek customers.
