Three people were taken to hospital Wednesday after a stabbing incident occurred at the University of Waterloo. The incident took place inside the university’s Hagey Hall, as confirmed by Waterloo Regional Police. The University of Waterloo, through a tweet, expressed their support for the police during their investigation. While all other campus operations will continue normally, classes scheduled for Wednesday evening in Hagey Hall have been cancelled as a precautionary measure. The university remains committed to maintaining a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.
