Police have recovered the bullet-ridden bodies of three young men suspected to be members of the armed tribal separatist group Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF), aka the Bawm Party, reports bdnews24.com. "The joint force conducted an operation in that area. They had a fight with KNF members," said Rayhan. Suspected members of the Bawm Party attacked three banks in Ruma and Thanchi in early April. A joint force of the Army, Border Guard Bangladesh, Rapid Action Battalion and police have been carrying out an operation against the Bawm Party since then.
