Fairuz Sadaf Abontika, the Jagannath University student who died by suicide two months ago, secured third place in the university’s 14th batch honours final year results with a CGPA of 3.65. The results of the LLB programme’s eighth semester were hung on the Law Department’s notice board on Sunday. Raihan Siddique Amman, the pupil Abontika accused of inciting her suicide, has scored 3.09. According to the results, Abontika secured a 3.73 CGPA out of 4 in the final eighth semester. She secured GPA 4 in the Liberation Movement and Independent course, GPA 4 in viva-voce, GPA 3.75 in the Special Penal Law course, GPA 3.75 in the Legal Research and Writing course, and GPA of 3.50 in the Conveyancing, Drafting and Trial Advocacy Training course.
