Thousands of Quebecers in the dark after freezing rain

After a mix of freezing rain and snow, about 3,000 Quebec customers are still without electricity. There are also power outages in Montreal, the Outaouais region, the Laurentians and in central Quebec. The good news is Environment Canada has lifted its freezing rain warning across southern Quebec. Environment Canada says visibility on the roads in Quebec City could be difficult due to high winds and blowing snow. (Charles Contant/CBC) Visibility is also reduced in some areas, including on Highway 20 between Montreal and Quebec City.
