Thousands commuters on the East Rail operated by the MTRC Corp are facing delays at the start of a new working week. Trains will run at intervals of 5-8 minutes on the East Rail “due to a signalling fault near University Station,'' the MTR announced. “East Rail Line trains will operate at a slower speed from Tai Po Market Station to University Station. This could extend the total journey time on the East Rail Line from Sheung Shui Station to Hung Hom Station by 5-8 minutes,'' the MTR Corp said
