MANILA, Philippines — Quezon City has launched the online registration period for its unified ID system, aimed at improving the delivery of social services, including the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines. ADVERTISEMENT“Yesterday, we just launched online our Quezon City, QCitizen ID system,” said Joseph Juico, co-chair of the city’s task force on COVID-19 in an interview Friday on ABS-CBN News Channel. “It’s like a one-stop-shop where Quezon City residents can apply for an ID, not just apply for an ID, but also avail of the services the Quezon City government offers,” he added. In a previous statement, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte said the unified ID system would help in the distribution of the expected vaccines to the priority sectors.
