Those responsible for Mir Quasem's hanging will not win, war criminal’s wife says

The relatives of Jamaat-e-Islami financier Mir Quasem went to Kashimpur Central Jail to see him in the afternoon on Saturday. After around three hours of the meeting with the wartime Al-Badr commander of Chittagong, Ayesha told reporters outside the jail: "Those hanging him will not win.”She claimed that Mir Quasem, found guilty of torturing freedom fighters to death in Chittagong during the 1971 war, is ‘going to die for Islam’. Ayesha added that the family was in 'pain' over the 'disappearance' of their son Mir Ahmed Bin Quasem Arman. The family alleged people posing as law enforcers picked up Arman his from home on Aug 10. The security forces have said they know nothing about the matter.
