Over the weekend German outlet Welt TV claimed talks were underway and those reports have now been corroborated by Sky Sports. England are still looking to confirm their permanent replacement to Gareth Southgate who left after his side’s heartbreaking Euro 2024 final defeat in July. Should England hire Tuchel, he would be the third non-British coach of the men’s national team after Sven-Göran Eriksson and Fabio Capello.
