Davies has developed as one of the best left-backs in European football since joining Bayern in 2018 and has now entered the final year of his contract at the Allianz Arena. Talks over a contract have stalled with Real Madrid hoping to swoop and sign the Canada international on a free transfer next year. Sky Sports Germany report United are pushing to sign Davies next summer – along with Bayern teammates Leroy Sane and Leon Goretzka. The Dutchman has resumed training after a long-term knee injury but is still not being considered for first-team action.
