Recently it was Shadow of Mordor with its story campaign loot boxes, and I am going to go ahead and guess that in a few weeks, we’ll be dissecting whether Battlefront 2’s loot boxes are pay to win. Though you cannot buy loot boxes outright yet, there have been strong hints that it’s only a matter of time until this is possible. The second issue has to do with a “VIP Pass,” something longtime Forza players used to pay extra for in order to secure a permanent 100% credit boost for their loyalty. As in, they balanced the weapon drops and Orc accumulation to work well without the additional consideration of the loot boxes’ items. You really couldn’t skip out on Injustice 2’s loot boxes as they contained gear upgrades you needed to make your characters stronger.
