Thirteen students then fell to the ground along with debris from the balcony. Six with the most severe injuries were rushed to the Viet Nam-Germany Hospital in Hanoi, while five students were taken to the provincial Bac Ninh Hospital and another two to Yen Phong District Hospital. Local authorities and the school representatives visited the injured students at the hospitals and provided them VND89 million (US$3,950) in total to help with the treatment.
