Third round meltdown for Steven Alker at Texas OpenGETTY IMAGES Steven Alker had a day to forget in the third round of the Texas Open. Steven Alker's hopes at the Texas Open sunk to bottom of a lake in a horror third round that saw him splash three consecutive shots on a par 3. His four-over second round 76 was nothing compared to Sunday's slump. After a bogey on the following hole, he put together a streak of four pars before ending the round with another bogey. Alker sits four shots last with his closest competitor being Canadian Adam Hadwin.
