Alan Henderson, the man behind beloved children's TV show puppet Thingee, has reportedly died. Sky confirmed news of his death on Facebook in a post paying tribute to the puppeteer and cameraman. NZ ON SCREEN Alan Henderson, the cameraman for beloved children's show Thingee, has reportedly died. He was known for his work on the 1990s show Son of a Gunn, which also featured Jason Gunn. Alan Henderson also worked as a sports producer and camera operator.
