The metro coach travelling from Baiyapannahalli towards Mysuru Road as the train was stopped 100 meters away from the Sir M Visvesvaraya Metro station as part of a mock drill on Sunday. At 11.07 a.m., the train was halted just before the Sir M Visvesvaraya Metro station via a remote command. It was a scary trip on Namma Metro purple line for 257 passengers as well as the loco-pilot of a metro coach travelling from Baiyapannahalli towards Mysuru Road as the train was stopped 150 meters away from the Sir M Visvesvaraya Metro station as part of a mock drill. “Even the driver and the station staff were unaware of the fact that this was a mock drill. The method of evacuation was similar to the first mock drill held a few weeks back for demonstration to the media and Government officials.
