But it seems that, in the eyes of the Western media, terrorism does have a religion, and that religion is Islam. The silence of world leaders in the matter, frankly, is deafening. Much of the world has continuously asserted that moderate Muslims do not do enough to condemn terrorist attacks by other Muslims. The continued silence on the issue is, sadly, a lapse into a biased narrative that sees Muslim victimisation as less important. Let us remember that religion is a tool used by terrorists to further their propaganda and hatred, not the other way round.
