Unfortunately, motorists who regularly travel under the Alabang viaduct were not so lucky. This includes the closure of the Skyway southbound off-ramp near Uratex; thus, funnelling motorists traveling southbound towards the steel ramp instead. Another rerouting scheme was implemented under the Alabang viaduct and service roads, leading to even more congestion for those living within these affected areas. Some have even said that it takes “an hour to travel from Alabang to Alabang” nowadays. Now, the density of traffic that’s currently happening in SLEX isn’t a situation that’s unique to those living in the south.
