The Seymour Square block would include four mixed cubicles, three urinals and two unisex disabled toilets. The Seymour Square toilets were the oldest standalone public loos in Blenheim. The council was also redeveloping public toilets in Anakiwa, which were so popular that it had to install three portaloos.
