Indeed, it would smell like scotch, too, and would have the distinct look of scotch in the light. Like wine, scotch is equal parts alcoholic beverage and vast field of study, with its own vocabulary, prerequisites and demanding path to expertise. Enjoying scotch the right way, Morgan stresses, means taking it seriously and educating yourself – but there’s no room for snobbery or pretension.
