(CNN) —After a prolonged period of rumors and teasers, Microsoft’s duo of next-generation consoles — the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S — are official. At $499, the Xbox Series X has more hardware inside and the addition of a disc drive. Compared to the Xbox Series X, which looks like a compact gaming PC, the Series S feels like the proper size.
