The Weeknd has purchased a 33,000-square-foot mansion in Los Angeles for $70 million, according to Architectural Digest. The Scarborough native, born Abel Tesfaye, recently sold his former property to Madonna, and will now be moving into the 1.6-acre lot in Bel Air. The mansion includes many unique amenities, such as two pools, a basketball court, a wine room, a music studio, a hammam, a gym and a movie theatre. The outdoor space overlooks the Bel Air country club, and includes an outdoor pool and waterfall. Formerly belonging to wealthy Dutch couple Danielle and Reinout Oerlemans, the sale was done off market and sold to the singer for triple the price they bought it for.
