Award-winning actor Bill Paxton star has died. The 61-year old was best known for his roles in such iconic films as Aliens, The Terminator, True Lies, Titanic and Twister. It was that same year in 1984 that his role as Punk Leader in an iconic scene in James Cameron’s The Terminator ($78.01 million worldwide unadjusted) that Paxton’s star really rose. Roles in seminal movies such as John Hughes’ Weird Science and Commando followed as did the role Private Hudson in Aliens ($183.31 million worldwide unadjusted), a film which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. The role, which saw him reteam with director James Cameron, made Bill Paxton an international star.
