Scotland’s fishing industry is a totemic one. Yet the policies being pursued by Labour and the SNP are threatening to undermine the very foundations of Scotland’s fishing heritage. The SNP would enthusiastically drag Scotland’s fishermen back into the hated CFP and cede control of our waters to Brussels. I’ve been a staunch and unapologetic champion of Scotland’s fishing industry during my time in both Westminster and Holyrood. I’ve always believed that our national fisheries resources are non-negotiable, and I’ve consistently fought to defend our fishing communities.
