Al Mubarak plays a key role in guiding the U.A.E. toward a more sustainable future while spearheading environmental protection, species conservation, and climate action across West Asia and globally. She has been serving as the President of the International Union for Conservation of Nature since 2021. In June 2024, she was appointed as Co-Chair of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures. Al Mubarak led Abu Dhabi’s commitment in reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030.
