ACCORDING to Gabriel Chaclag, OIC Office of the deputy director general for Reformation/PIO, the prisoners inside the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City are in good condition despite the lockdown, as reported by Ricky Castellvi, The Manila Times correspondent. Chaclag also stressed that physical distancing among the prisoners are being strictly implemented and managed with discipline and control. The deputy director also explained that NBP had moved on from the past bad allegation image with positive new direction. Although The Times correspondent was not able to get a tour of NBP prison for security reasons, he was able to go around the vicinity such as the Jamboree Island, the War Memorial, the Japanese Cementery, and the Famous Walls.
