Megaworld Corp. saw its net income rise by 22 percent to P19.3 billion in 2019 from P15.8 billion in 2018. The company was also able to complete about 192,300 square meters (sqm) of new leasable office space last year, bringing its total to 1.3 million sqm. Megaworld Lifestyle Malls’ income grew by 14 percent to P6.3 billion from P5.5 billion in 2018. It added 20,600 sqm of leasable space last year, bringing total leasable space to 453,000 sqm. Meanwhile, hotel arm Megaworld Hotels saw its earnings soar by 67 percent to P2.5 billion from P1.5 billion in 2018.
