Barbara Davidson has taken her latest camera out for a test drive and is ready to rumble. Ms. Davidson was recently hired by Volvo Cars to make street photographs using the safety camera built into their cars. For Ms. Davidson, however, the camera offered a visual narrative of everything in and around the car’s path from which she could extract discrete images. “I would say, ‘Turn right, slow down, move a little to the left,’ ” Ms. Davidson explained.
