Kashmi­r is import­ant to the Pakist­ani nation­KARACHI: It was decided during the days leading to Pakistan’s independence, that the provinces having Muslim majority should be included in Pakistan. The wishes of the people of Kashmir who were more than willing to join Pakistan have, unfortunately, not seen the light of the day. The UN formed commissions for a peaceful settlement of the Kashmir issue. Kashmir is important to the Pakistani nation. The government must take steps for the resolution of the Kashmir issue.
