Formally known as the “Iron City Fishing Club” — in a nod to Pittsburgh’s historical nickname — the club consists of 55 cottages and about 80 buildings in total. Somewhere between 20 per cent to 30 per cent of the local marina’s revenues derive from its Iron City clients. He and his wife have raised two kids in Iron City. There are some perks to being a Canadian in Iron City, one of which is the proximity to your cottage. Of course, land and water in Canadian cottage country generally don’t come cheap.
