The Tamil textbook is part of the syllabus revamp called for by the State Government for State board schools. “As a part of the Advanced Tamil subject, we are keen that students learn about a number of fields and felt that it was important for them to learn about Journalism. Journalism is not just limited to writing and publishing articles and the chapter has spoken in detail about the various facets,” he added. Kodhainayaki Ammal are the other personalities featured for their important contribution to journalism.
