Melania Trump was hospitalized last month for what the White House said was a kidney procedure and has not been seen in public since. At the time, (Trump lawyer Jay) Sekulow and White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders claimed Trump had not, in fact, dictated that statement. In President Trump’s telling, which can often be more imaginary than real, he is a victim — a long-suffering, tormented victim.
