Like I wrote the other day, Supercell was never going to make Clash of Clans 2. It gives players newer and older alike a chance to start fresh with new, refined mechanics that make some much-needed improvements over the relatively ancient base game. The main village in Clash of Clans is an unwieldy beast, and it's only become more so over the years. This is theoretically mitigated by the fact that this is only a sub-game in the main game, but I'm not really buying it. As a game mode, it's totally disconnected from the main game, which means it should be able to stand on its own.
