The film directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson as the titular hero, Bruce Wayne, has become the latest film to halt production due to the outbreak. The film's studio Warner Bros. Pictures confirmed in a statement via Deadline that filming would be postponed. They said: "Warner Bros. Pictures feature production of The Batman will be on a two-week hiatus starting today. The Batman is currently due to be released in cinemas on June 25, 2021.
