Part of the fun of walking into a Dunkin' Donuts has always been seeing the big glass case full of doughnuts. The cutback varies from Dunkin outlet to Dunkin outlet, but between 18 and 24 flavors remain in its stores, down from the 40 it regularly offers. Dunkin, like so many places, has jumped on the pumpkin bandwagon, and it also rolls out other seasonal flavors throughout the year. In all, Dunkin offers more than 70 types of pastries, which also include bagels, muffins, and croissants. But lately, Dunkin is so focused on beverages that is testing whether to remove the "Donuts" from its name.
