JOHN'S, N.L. - Officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary have recovered a sizable number of paintings stolen from a home in the west end of St. John's, thanks in part to help from the public. At least a dozen pricey pieces of art have been stolen from a home in St. John's, N.L. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says the heist happened sometime between April 18 and May 17, when the break-and-enter was reported to investigators.
