Fire officials say crews are making progress fighting a a wildfire in West Kelowna and are allowing some evacuees to return to their homes Saturday night. Fire in West Kelowna near Mission Hill winery. pic.twitter.com/gK9RVAjqrb —@BradyStrachanThe fire is burning on Mount Boucherie near the Mission Hill winery, which was evacuated eariler Saturday evening as a precaution according to Jason Brolund with West Kelowna Fire Rescue. Brolund said those residents, as well as the Mission Hill Winery, will be allowed to return to their homes around 11:00 p.m. after crews finish up in their neighbourhoods. Other wildfiresThe wildfire came as crews managed to control one of two large wildfires burning in B.C.
