Thanathorn to steer clear of dissolution case rulingFuture Forward Party (FFP) leader Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit said yesterday that he will not attend the Constitutional Court ruling on his party's dissolution case, scheduled for Feb 21. Mr Thanathorn insisted that the EC's proceedings against the party were illegitimate, citing leaked documents indicating that the commission's sub-committee had twice dismissed proposals to have the party dissolved. Prosecutors, meanwhile, have postponed a decision on whether to indict Mr Thanathorn and others over the rally on Pathumwan skywalk on Dec 14, lawyer Kritsadang Nutchara said. He said the state had rescheduled its decision to March 17, as prosecutors need additional evidence for the case. Meanwhile, Mr Thanathorn asked yesterday that four additional witnesses from the rally be questioned, so they can counter police charges.
