The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said 69 Thai nationals departed Iran on Saturday as part of an organised evacuation effort amid the escalating conflict in the Middle East. "The ministry urges Thai nationals in Iran who wish to return [to Thailand] to contact the Royal Thai Embassy in Tehran so documentation can be coordinated," Mr Panidone said. The embassy said it would assist both Thai nationals who wish to evacuate and those who decide to remain in Iran while monitoring the situation.
