Britain: A letter or callLONDON — Seniors in Britain are invited to get their vaccination usually via a letter, or sometimes a phone call. Britain was also the first country in the world to authorize the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine and began its rollout Dec. 8. ADOnce they receive a letter in the mail, seniors are invited to book an appointment online or call a number listed on the letter. Other states send eligible residents a letter with a phone number or website where they can schedule an appointment directly. Bindra said it took two weeks to compile a list of more than 1,800 elderly residents and submit it to the local health office.
