Terrorists involved in attack on Major Ishaq killed in DI Khan IBO: ISPR
Zahir Shah was wanted in several cases of militancyWanted terrorist belonging to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Zahir Shah, along with his accomplice was killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Dera Ismail Khan on Thursday. Both the militants were involved in an attack on a Pakistan Army major in November last year. Major Ishaq, 28, from the Khushab district of Punjab, embraced martyrdom during an exchange of fire with militants in Kulachi. Major martyred in clash with TTP militantsAccording to the Inter-Services Public Relations, the terrorists were planting IED in Kulachi area when forces traced them following a tip-off. TTP commander Shah was wanted by the police and other security forces in several cases of militancy, including attacks on security forces and schools in South Waziristan.
