Tension is high in Kambu market in Kibwezi subcounty after a nightclub guard was killed by a gang and the manager injured on Tuesday morning. We have to do something before all of us are killed," one of the traders said. Kibwezi police office Ben Chagulo said the gang struck in the wee hours of Tuesday morning and left the manager of the club with serious injuries. "The guard was hit with a blunt object on the head in the 5am incident and died at the scene but the manager survived the attack. The gang is suspected to be responsible for robberies at several petrol stations on Monday night.
