Earnings per share went up to 31.22 sen from 14.55 sen previously. In its filing to Bursa Malaysia today, Tenaga disclosed that its revenue declined by 4.32% to RM11.24 billion during 4QFY16 from RM11.74 billion last year. "This year's performance was mainly contributed by positive momentum in Peninsular Malaysia electricity demand," Tenaga president and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Ir Azman Mohd said. Moving forward, we expect that electricity demand will continue to increase in tandem with the country's economic growth," he added. Tenaga shares were traded unchanged at RM14.32 as at market close, giving it a market capitalisation of RM80.82 billion.
