PETALING JAYA: An individual was killed, believed to have been shot while attempting to rob a jewellery store here on Monday morning (March 16). In the 11am incident, the suspect, who was reportedly riding a motorcycle, arrived at the premises, Sinar Harian reported. At the time of the incident, the jewellery store was understood to have had no customers as it had only just opened for business. A tense situation then arose when the suspect allegedly struggled with a security guard at the premises. The suspect was believed to have been shot by another security guard at the scene, sustaining serious injuries before being rushed to hospital.
