Ten of 12 Hong Kong fugitives who have been detained on the mainland following their failure in absconding to Taiwan have been prosecuted, Shenzhen Yantian People’s Procuratorate announced today. Among the ten, Tang Kai-yin and Quinn Moon have been charged with “abetting others in secretly crossing the border”. Meanwhile, Andy Li Yu-hin, Cheng Tsz-ho, Cheung Chun-fu, Cheung Ming-yu, Yim Man-him, Lee Tsz-yin, Kwok Tsz-lun and Wong Wai-yin have been charged with “secretly crossing the border”. The procuratorate said a close-door hearing for the two remaining underaged members of the 12 fugitives would be announced at a later time.
