Ten people have been killed in a serious road accident on the coastal highway west of Sirte, officials say. The crash occurred early on Monday on the road linking Al-Wushka and Abu Qurayn. Abu Qurayn Rural Hospital said it received ten bodies following the collision. Local authorities said two passenger vehicles were involved and caught fire after the impact, killing everyone on board. The bodies were transferred by ambulance to the city of Misrata.
