Blair Walkinson, Vicki Jones, Fiona Helm and Nychole Pattinson are seen during the Temuka Hope Walk on Sunday. About 45 people walked for hope in Temuka on Sunday, raising awareness for suicide prevention and mental health. Temuka Hope Walk organiser Jan Wilkinson said people from Ashburton and Timaru travelled to the town for the second annual walk which focuses on spreading the message of hope. The walk began with a talk about suicide awareness suicide and mental health and then participants took the walk across Torepe Fields. “The motive of the event is more about paying respect to those who have passed through suicide,” Jones said.
